InsightsDash, Inc. ("we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal data. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and share your information when you use InsightsDash ("the Service").
Account Information: When you register, we collect your name, email address, and organization name. If you sign up through a third-party provider (such as Google), we receive your name and email from that provider.
Third-Party Integration Data: When you connect services like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, or other integrations, we access and store analytics data, performance metrics, and site audit results from those services. This data is used solely to provide the Service.
Site Scan Data: When you run scans (SEO audits, SSL checks, HTML validation, technology detection), we fetch and analyze publicly available information from the websites you specify.
Usage Data: We collect information about how you use the Service, including pages visited, features used, and session duration.
Payment Information: If you subscribe to a paid plan, payment processing is handled by our third-party payment processor. We do not store credit card numbers on our servers.
We use your information to: (a) provide, maintain, and improve the Service; (b) generate AI-powered reports, analyses, and recommendations; (c) send transactional communications (account verification, billing, alerts); (d) monitor and analyze usage patterns to improve user experience; (e) detect and prevent fraud or abuse; and (f) comply with legal obligations.
The Service uses third-party AI providers (such as Anthropic) to generate reports and analyses. When generating AI content, we send aggregated site data (scores, metrics, audit results) to the AI provider. We do not send personally identifiable information to AI providers. AI providers process data according to their own privacy policies and do not use your data to train their models.
Your data is stored on secure servers. We use encryption in transit (TLS/SSL) and implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your data. OAuth tokens for third-party services are stored encrypted and are only used to refresh data on your behalf.
We do not sell your personal data. We may share data with: (a) third-party service providers who assist in operating the Service (hosting, payment processing, email delivery); (b) AI providers for report generation (aggregated metrics only, no PII); (c) law enforcement if required by law; and (d) successors in the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
When you create shareable report links, the report data accessible through those links becomes viewable by anyone with the link. You are responsible for managing access to shared links and can revoke them at any time through the Service.
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. Historical snapshots and trend data are retained to provide the trending and progress tracking features. Upon account deletion, we will delete your data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law or for legitimate business purposes (such as fraud prevention).
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to: (a) access the personal data we hold about you; (b) request correction of inaccurate data; (c) request deletion of your data; (d) object to or restrict processing; (e) data portability; and (f) withdraw consent. We use essential cookies for authentication and session management. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. Third-party services integrated into the Service may set their own cookies according to their respective policies.
The Service is not intended for individuals under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If we learn that we have collected data from a child, we will delete it promptly.
Your data may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your own. We ensure appropriate safeguards are in place for international data transfers in compliance with applicable data protection laws.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or through the Service. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
